Why is a 2 ft ramp 28 inches long when open?

The nominal ramp length is 24 inches. The additional 4-inch transition flap rests on the upper landing, giving a total open length of 28 inches.

Does it require installation?

No assembly or permanent installation is required. Position it on firm, stable surfaces with the top flap securely supported. Rubber padding helps grip the landing but does not guarantee slip prevention.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Brush away dirt and inspect the surface, rubber padding and latch before use. Avoid submersion and standing water, which can weaken the anti-skid adhesive. Dry after exposure. Do not apply polish, wax or oil to the traction surface.
