The Acc-Red 6 ft Telescopic Wheelchair Ramp is supplied as a pair of aluminium tracks for temporary access over suitable steps, thresholds and kerbs. Each track extends for use and retracts for storage and transport. The complete pair weighs 15.7 kg.

- Step height: Up to 18 inches under Acc-Red’s steepest portable-ramp guidance, subject to suitability checks.
- Landing: Both top flaps need complete, stable support. Check for at least 1500 × 1500 mm of clear turning space after positioning the tracks.
Slope guidance: Prefer 1:6–1:8 where space allows. The steepest 1:4 configuration requires a suitability check and attendant assistance for manual wheelchair use. Confirm the wheelchair manufacturer’s permitted incline before use.

Acc-Red’s maximum-rise guidance for this model is 18 inches, subject to user, wheelchair and site suitability. Choose a longer ramp for a gentler incline. Manual wheelchair use at the steepest configuration requires attendant assistance.
Does the ramp fold?
The tracks telescope and retract for storage. They do not fold like a suitcase ramp.
Why is the total open length 76 inches?
The nominal extended length is 72 inches. Each track has an additional 4-inch transition flap that rests on the upper landing, giving a total open length of 76 inches. The flap is not additional sloping length for calculating the recommended rise.
Can one person position the tracks?
One operator can position the tracks when able to safely manage their weight and dimensions. Check that both tracks are securely supported, correctly extended and aligned before use. Wheelchair movement may require an attendant depending on the user, wheelchair and incline.
How do I clean and maintain them?
Brush away dirt and inspect the running surfaces, sliding sections and locking mechanisms before use. Keep the telescoping sections free from debris. Avoid submersion and standing water, and dry after exposure. Do not apply polish, wax or oil to the traction surfaces.
